Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead high‑value UK infrastructure bids and strengthen the Work Winning team within the Commercial Structure. You will own the bid lifecycle from PQQ to Tender, drive win strategies, and coordinate cross‑functional teams for timely submissions.

The role requires proven experience in delivering £50m+ bids across Water, Transport, Highways, Airports or Ports, with strong client liaison and process improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high value bids (£50m+) across Water, Transport, Highways, Airports or Ports.
• Full knowledge of the bid lifecycle from OJEU notices to PQQ, Tender and Post Tender Interviews.
• Ability to re-engineer client specifications for value-added engineered solutions.
• Strong critical appraisal of potential bids and client dialogue management.

Responsibilities

• Compile PQQ documents and tender deliverables.
• Manage Murphy bid programmes and team resources.
• Develop and implement win strategies for bids.
• Create launch packs for PQQ/Tender delivery teams.
• Maintain CRM entries and manage client communications.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external audiences.
