SUEZ in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Bid Manager to own and lead the end-to-end proposal process for strategic corporate bids, from qualification and development through to submission and mobilisation. You will lead, coach and develop four Bid Managers and one Assistant Bid Manager, establishing strong governance, review gateways and efficient bid-management processes.

You’ll maintain the national bid library, provide regular updates on bid pipeline and performance to the Head of Corporate

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex B2B bids and tender processes.
• Strong knowledge of UK procurement methodologies and contracts.
• Experience in waste management and environmental services markets is a plus.
• Resilient under pressure with leadership and integrity.

What will I be doing?

• Own and lead the end-to-end proposal process for strategic corporate bids from qualification and development through to submission, negotiation, financial approval and mobilisation handover.
• Lead, coach and develop a team comprising four Bid Managers and one Assistant Bid Manager.
• Establish, maintain and continuously improve bid management processes, governance frameworks and review gateways.
• Own and continuously enhance the national bid library, ensuring content remains current, accurate, relevant and aligned to brand standards.
• Provide regular updates on bid pipeline activity, strategic opportunities and performance trends to the Head of Corporate Sales and senior leadership team.

What are the requirements?

• Experience managing complex B2B corporate bids and tender processes.
• Strong understanding of UK procurement methodologies and commercial contracting practices.
• Knowledge of waste management, recycling, resource recovery and environmental services markets and understanding of operational service delivery models and mobilisation processes
• Resilient and calm under pressure, proactive and motivated with a strong desire to win.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and sound judgement, visible leadership and accountability.
