Job summary

PfP Students, part of Places for People Group, is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to drive growth by leading end-to-end tender and bid processes. You will collaborate with the Head of Business Development and stakeholders to craft compelling submissions, manage multiple bids, and strengthen the tender pipeline.

The role involves reviewing bids, meeting client requirements and branding standards, and may include guiding temporary bid writers. National travel to client sites is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating at Bid Manager level within a competitive tendering environment.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and local government portals.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple complex bids and tender opportunities.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and monitor progress.
• Identify opportunities through procurement portals and market intelligence.
• Lead bid reviews and debriefs, shaping future strategies and pipeline.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers when needed.
