Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Business Development Director for its Supply Chain Center of Excellence. The role focuses on winning new supply chain business within a defined territory, leveraging Cognite’s AI and data platforms to transform client value chains.

You will lead cross-functional teams, engage with C-suite stakeholders, and drive long-term growth across manufacturing, energy, and utilities verticals. A strong SaaS sales track record is essential.

• Deep domain expertise in complex supply chain operations across manufacturing or energy verticals.
• Ability to build quantified ROI frameworks for prospective buyers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted territory strategy to accelerate bookings growth.
• Generate pipeline and drive customer value through Cognite applications and data platforms.
• Lead extended territory teams through complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Quantify ROI and present business cases to justify software investments.
• Collaborate with partners to progress pipeline and joint opportunities.
• Forecast bookings and maintain accurate account records in Salesforce.
