Job summary

BC Platforms is seeking a Business Development Director to accelerate growth across our Biometrics and Scientific Services portfolio. You will build relationships with senior decision-makers, shape solutions with our scientific experts, and lead complex opportunities from engagement through contract award.

This role is UK-based and fully remote with travel up to 40%. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in CROs or life sciences services, a strong track record selling outsourced scientific services,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of successful business development experience within CROs, biometrics providers, or life sciences services
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline
• Proven success selling outsourced scientific services and achieving revenue targets
• Strong understanding of clinical trial and RWE outsourcing models
• Established relationships within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations
• Fluent English with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across scientific, operational, and senior commercial audiences

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and build a qualified pipeline across our Scientific Services portfolio
• Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through proposal development and contract execution
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across clinical data management, biostatistics, statistical programming, real-world evidence, and operations to develop solutions
• Represent BC Platforms at conferences, industry forums, trade shows, and networking events
• Forecast, report, and contribute commercial insight to budgeting and business planning
