Barclays is looking for a Senior Customer Service Advisor to support Retail Banking customers in branch or local hubs, providing guidance and a personalised resolution for each interaction.

You’ll join our Customer Care team and work five days a week, including weekends, with a starting salary of £27,700 plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical insurance, life insurance and income protection.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail handling complex customer queries.
• Ability to empathise and deliver excellent service.
• Willingness to work 5 days per week including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service through chat, email and phone.
• Resolve more complex customer needs with personalised solutions.
• Collaborate with bank teams to align customer care processes.
• Identify improvement opportunities and share feedback for process changes.
• Develop and implement customer care procedures to mitigate risk and maintain efficiency.
• Handle inquiries related to accounts, transactions and payments.
• Create and present customer care performance reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends to implement best practices in customer care.
