Job summary

Peoples Security Bank and Trust Company is seeking a branch-focused professional to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support a range of banking services in-person or virtually.

You will counsel clients, promote financial solutions, and work as part of a sales/service team handling daily operations. After licensing, you may process consumer loans and supervise Personal Bankers, contributing to staff development.

Qualifications

• Education/training: High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in a related position.
• Skills: Strong communication across channels; able to lead, coach and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Processes all customer transactions (checks, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, cash advances, wires, etc.) efficiently, accurately, and compliantly.
• Balances cash drawer and night deposits; replenishes, services, and balances the ATM; manages vault transactions and balancing.
• Provides exemplary customer service and explains deposit accounts and loan activity, fees, and services.
• Engages and advises customers in person or virtually to attract, retain, and grow relationships.
• Assists clients with deposit account and ancillary service selections, opening them promptly.
• Has ability to obtain NMLS; after licensing/training, can process and close consumer loans.
• May supervise Personal Bankers, onboarding, coaching, and development; assists in Talent Acquisition and Performance Evaluation.
