Job summary

HSBC Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a customer-facing branch adviser to generate revenue by meeting the needs of Personal Banking and Advance customers. You will use a structured sales approach to match customers to HSBC products where regulation permits, while driving new customer acquisition and strengthening existing relationships.

You will guide customers to digital channels when appropriate, maintain high in-branch service standards, and refer to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing sales and service role.
• Structured needs-based conversations and product recommendations.
• Proven ability to generate revenue through appropriate product sales.
• Ability to build new and deepen existing customer relationships.
• Promote digital and multi-channel options for customers.
• Follow regulatory and policy requirements when selling products.
• Protect the bank through vigilance against fraud and KYC.
• Ability to refer customers to specialist teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers on branch entry and use structured conversations to understand their needs.
• Acquire new-to-bank customers through in-branch engagement.
• Develop existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to meet evolving banking needs.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and service where required.
• Promote multi-channel engagement and guide customers to additional channels.
• Complete product sales where regulation permits and applicable to customer needs.
• Apply the EDRAS-based sales process to discover needs and recommend solutions.
• Provide referrals to Wealth Sales and Branch Specialists based on customer needs.
