Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with modern Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud, CI/CD, testing and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring.
• Lead technical design and architectural discussions.
• Develop and evolve RESTful APIs with focus on security and performance.
• Champion clean code, automated testing and documentation.
• Drive delivery across initiatives balancing speed, quality and value.
• Mentor engineers and raise team capability.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver client value.
• Research AI capabilities to improve engineering delivery.
• Promote automation and continuous learning across the team.
• Contribute to long-term maintainability and architectural decisions.
