ExTrac AI in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will build and operate backend microservices, APIs, and data pipelines that power decision intelligence for governments and enterprises.

You will own Go and Python services end to end, collaborate with AI and frontend teams, and push for latency, cost, and reliability. The role requires 4+ years in software engineering and a mindset for scalable, secure production systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience owning features end to end.
• Proficiency building microservices with Go or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases and patterns.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Design and deliver services end to end with clear contracts.
