ExTrac is seeking a Software Engineer to join our London-based engineering team to build and operate backend services and data pipelines that power our decision intelligence platform.

You will develop Go and Python microservices, optimize database and API performance, and contribute to scalable system design, deployment tooling, and observability, working with AI, frontend, and product teams to deliver fast, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade services.
• Proficiency in Go or Python and ability to pick up the other quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Go and Python microservices and APIs.
• Improve latency, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines and databases.
• Collaborate with analysts, product and frontend teams to deliver cross-functional features.
