M-KOPA is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Asset Sales group. You will build distributed C#/.NET microservices on Azure, operating in an event-driven architecture at scale. The role emphasizes outcomes and production ownership, with AI-enabled tooling shaping daily engineering work.

You’ll collaborate with diverse teams across the UK, Europe, and Africa, embracing a fully remote, GMT-aligned work model and ongoing opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of C# and .NET development.
• 1-2 years of experience with event-driven architectures.
• Proven microservices experience on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Application Insights.
• Ability to work with AI tools as part of daily engineering workflow.
• DevOps mindset including on-call/production ownership.
• Strong collaboration across distributed time zones.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new tools.
