You will influence architectural choices, improve reliability, and drive high-impact features while collaborating with product, security, and data teams.

You will work in a distributed environment, harness AI to optimize workflows, and help set standards for performance and scalability across a global product.

Qualifications

• Deep backend expertise in architecture, APIs, data systems, and performance tuning.
• Ability to learn and adapt across languages and systems.
• Experience designing modular backends and migration-safe architectures.
• Strong written communication to influence product decisions.
• Experience building or operating agentic AI in production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Technical Direction: design and ship complex backend features with minimal guidance.
• Raise the Bar: define backend standards for quality, security, availability and performance.
• Mentor & Lead: guide engineers, remove blockers, review designs and code.
• Operational Excellence: diagnose, prevent performance issues, participate in incidents.
• AI Integration: leverage AI in production engineering for reliable outcomes.
