Qualifications
- Backend expertise with Node.js, TypeScript and AWS cloud services.
- Full-stack competency with React/Next.js when needed.
- Coaching and team mentorship to grow engineers.
- Collaborative senior leadership on system design and roadmaps.
- Inclusive mindset and open communication in a remote-friendly culture.
- Experience with modern SDLC, automated testing, CI/CD and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead system design and re-architecture for key platform initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and help upskill the team on the replatformed stack.
- Utilise AI tools (Claude) to improve productivity and code quality.
- Build scalable backend systems using serverless microservices.
- Foster an open, psychologically safe team environment.
- Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and Engineering Manager on roadmaps.
