Lovey in Central Birmingham is seeking a Senior Collections Advisor to manage a portfolio of B2B arrears accounts, contacting customers by phone, email and written communication to recover balances and propose repayment solutions. You will handle more complex cases and apply negotiation strategies to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, ideally within fintech or financial services.
• Track record of achieving collection targets.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle challenging conversations and make sound decisions.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accounts and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own a portfolio of B2B arrears accounts.
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email and written communication.
• Negotiate payment plans and drive debt recovery outcomes.
• Work towards and exceed monthly collection targets.
• Assess customer circumstances and apply appropriate collection strategies.
• Take ownership of complex, high-risk cases.
• Record all interactions and account activity accurately.
• Escalate cases and work with internal teams.
• Share best practice with the collections team.
• Help maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
