Job summary

Stott and May Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to strengthen reliability and operational performance of large-scale platforms in a regulated environment.

The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership, incident management, automation and reliability across the lifecycle. You will drive improvements in platform operations, implement IaC, CI/CD, blue/green and canary releases, and apply AI-assisted approaches to ITSM activities.

Qualifications

• Proven background in SRE/DevOps or Platform Engineering within large-scale, regulated environments.
• Strong experience with on-prem and AWS cloud-native architectures and system design.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, automation, scripting and IaC.
• Experience with Python or Go, Ansible, Terraform or similar tools.
• Proven use of agentic AI in observability, incident management and automated recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own technical outcomes and drive engineering quality across platforms.
• Collaborate with product, operations and security to embed reliability in SDLC.
• Define and track KPIs for reliability and performance.
• Lead production incident management and rapid resolution.
• Drive post-incident reviews and systemic improvements.
