Job summary

Systematica Investments Limited in London seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and operate our hybrid production platform across AWS and on‑premises infrastructure. You will own the HashiCorp stack—Vault, Consul, Nomad—and drive automation using Terraform and Ansible.

You will work with software engineers, quantitative developers and security teams to deliver secure, scalable platforms with robust CI/CD and strong operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate and operate the production platform across AWS and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Own, maintain and evolve the HashiCorp platform (Vault, Consul, Nomad) and integrations.
• Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure resources and modules.
• Use Ansible to support multi‑stage deployment workflows and configuration management.
• Build internal tooling and self‑service capabilities to improve developer productivity.
• Support and enhance CI/CD platforms and workflows for infrastructure changes.
• Improve platform reliability, security, observability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with software engineers, research teams, Tech Ops and security colleagues to deliver scalable platforms.
