Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure strategy and delivery pipelines. You will work hands-on across architecture and deployment, enabling scalable AI-enabled services, observability, and robust incident response.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, exceptional collaboration with software and data science teams, and leadership without direct reports. You will influence standards and accelerate delivery across the platform.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering or related discipline.
• Strong expertise in Azure and/or AWS, designing and operating production systems in complex cloud environments.
• Advanced experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release automation and environment management.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, DevOps, deployment, and operational capabilities.
• Architect, build, and operate secure, observable, resilient platforms across Azure, AWS, or both.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, IaC, automated testing, release controls and environment management.
