Job summary

Artex is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Insurance Management - Catastrophe Bonds to deliver high-quality management and administration for its catastrophe bond and ILS portfolio.

You will serve as a senior day-to-day contact for clients and stakeholders, overseeing lifecycle events, reporting, and regulatory compliance while supporting process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CA/CPA/ACA/ACCA) is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ recent (re)insurance experience in financial reporting or accounting.
• Experience in insurance-linked securities or catastrophe bond management is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Bermuda and/or Cayman (re)insurance market and regulatory environment.
• Strong IFRS and U.S. GAAP knowledge, including insurance and investment accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; experience with general ledger reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and administrative services to catastrophe bonds and other ILS entities.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of catastrophe bond transactions, including onboarding, reporting, and liquidation.
• Act as senior day-to-day contact for sponsors, structuring agents, counsel, trustees, regulators and service providers.
• Coordinate transaction activities, monitor premium receipts, coupons, and expense payments; handle KYC requests.
• Review client working papers, management accounts and IFRS/GAAP financial statements.
• Prepare regulatory filings and communicate compliance requirements to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardise processes and use of platforms.
