Job summary

Artex is seeking a Vice President of Insurance Management to lead client services for a portfolio of insurance-linked securities entities. The role oversees delivering high-quality client service, coordinating complex processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance in IFRS/GAAP reporting.

You will mentor a team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with clients and service providers to achieve timely financial statements and value-added solutions.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA, ACA or ACCA designation required.
• 5+ years’ post-qualification (re)insurance experience in financial reporting, accounting or auditing.
• 2 years of people management experience preferred.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with Bermuda insurance market and regulatory environment.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with general ledger reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for clients and lead service delivery and relationship building.
• Identify and proactively provide solutions to client service issues or queries.
• Coordinate collateralized reinsurance transformer processes.
• Ensure ILS vehicles comply with contractual obligations and payments.
• Oversee timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review client working papers, management accounts and IFRS/GAAP statements.
• Monitor compliance with obligations, laws and filings.
• Coordinate and manage audit processes.
• Interact with client personnel and service providers.
• Assist with proposals and marketing activities.
• Review meeting materials and present at client meetings.
• Develop and maintain client service systems and procedures to improve efficiency and cost control.
• Lead and develop the team through effective delegation and performance management.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and training to the team.
