Job summary

Cloud Imperium Games in Manchester is seeking a Lead AV & Production Systems Engineer to own our audio-visual environment end-to-end. You will oversee live events, motion capture spaces, multi-set productions, immersive audio, and broadcast workflows to a professional standard.

You will coordinate AV vendors, manage complex audio/video systems, support livestreams and video encoding, contribute to the long-term AV strategy, and document systems and specifications for the site.

Qualifications

• Proven high-level background in live events, broadcast or touring production.
• Strong audio engineering foundation – FOH mixing, multi-mic setups, live sound.
• Experience with Dolby Atmos, large-format projection, AV over IP, and conferencing infra.

Responsibilities

• Own the AV environment end-to-end across all spaces, including live events stages and studios.
• Perform daily operational checks and triage faults, escalating when needed.
• Act as primary point of contact for AV vendors and contractors, overseeing installs and upgrades.
• Manage complex audio and video systems across multiple spaces and setups.
• Ensure broadcast-quality camera and studio setups for livestreaming and encoding workflows.
• Contribute to and lead the long-term AV strategy for the site.
• Document systems, processes and technical specifications.
