Qualifications

• Experience installing, commissioning and fault finding automated systems.
• Programming and configuring control boards and automation equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on-site and remotely.
• Experience with gate automation, automatic doors, barriers, bollards or other vehicle access systems.
• Reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with clear communication.
• Willing to work in an office-based role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to installers, distributors and customers via telephone and email.
• Diagnose faults and provide practical solutions.
• Advise on installation, programming and commissioning of systems.
• Support product selection and specifications.
• Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams.
• Produce technical documentation and training materials.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.
• Mentor junior Technical Support Engineers.
• Occasionally visit customers when required.
