Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for head office and client sites, across hardware, software and telephony.

The role is office-based in Fareham, with on-site parking, reporting to the IT Manager and joining a small IT team.

You will work across Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11 and Office 365/Azure, helping with projects and user training.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows Server, AD and client devices in a mixed IT environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of Office 365 / Azure services and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage incidents and communicate with users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across hardware, software and business systems until resolution.
• Manage IT operations, security and access control, with escalation as needed.
• Assist IT projects, including deployments, integrations and user training.

Job description

IT Support Engineer required to support internal users across 2nd & 3rd line. The company are looking for a skilled Senior IT Support Engineer to support their head office and client sites with a range of IT issues.

Reporting to the IT Manager and working as part of a small IT team, this role is well suited to someone who likes to embed themselves into the business and work across a broad range of tasks.

Please note, this role is fully office based in Fareham. On-site parking is available.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on IT support across hardware, software, telephony and business systems, managing incidents through to resolution and keeping users updated throughout.
• Manage IT operations and security, including hardware provisioning, access control, IT policies, service communications and escalation to internal or external specialists where required.
• Support IT projects and improvements, including system implementations, integrations, technical developments and training users across the business.
