Job summary

Cartisian Recruitment seeks an accomplished Automation Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK, selling AGV/AMR solutions and managing multi-million-pound projects from concept to delivery. The role is home-based with potential for a company car and lucrative commission, targeting major enterprise customers and C-suite stakeholders.

You will lead solution-based sales across high-value automation, coordinating with engineering teams and ensuring successful tendering, negotiation, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automation sales or mobile automation (AGVs/AMRs)
• Strong track record in solution-based selling for high-value automation projects
• Experience engaging with operational, senior, and C-suite stakeholders
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and commercial skills
• Comfortable working autonomously in a home-based, customer-facing role

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and market penetration of AGV/AMR portfolio across designated UK territory
• Develop relationships with enterprise customers from operations to C-suite
• Visit customer sites to assess workflows and automation opportunities
• Develop and present bespoke robotic solutions with clear ROI and business-case models
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
• Own the full sales cycle from engagement to tender, negotiation and contract
• Manage complex tenders and ensure progression through to close
• Ensure smooth transition from sales to project delivery and onboarding
• Maintain understanding of evolving warehouse automation market and industry trends
