Job summary

Frankland Automation is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join an established international automation business based in South Wales (Newport/Cardiff). You will lead projects from design through commissioning, working with PLC, DCS, BMS, EPMS and SCADA systems.

The role offers variety across clients and sectors, with UK travel and a focus on delivering robust, on-site solutions while developing leadership and technical expertise.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in industrial automation.
Hands-on PLC/DCS programming and SCADA experience.
Willingness to travel and deliver projects across the EU.

Responsibilities

Lead automation projects through design, software development, testing and commissioning.
Work with PLC, DCS, BMS, EPMS and SCADA systems, and MES/history platforms.
