Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on automation and infrastructure as code. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for provisioning and config management across cloud and on‑premises environments. Proficiency in Python, Jinja2, Terraform, Puppet, and PowerShell is essential.

You will drive automation across Linux/Windows, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to a culture of high quality and reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development experience, with structured, testable code.
• Hands-on experience building CLI tools and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, Puppet, and IaC tooling.
• Familiarity with Jinja2 templating and Python packaging.
• Strong testing practices (pytest) and code quality tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Build Terraform code-generation platforms using Python and Jinja2.
• Develop Puppet modules and PowerShell automation for Windows environments.
• Create reusable automation components and runbooks for hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, and application teams to drive automation-first solutions.
