Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who loves solving infrastructure challenges through software engineering and automation. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks that provision cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and operational processes using Python, Jinja2, Terraform, Puppet, and PowerShell.

This highly technical, coding-focused role emphasizes clean, testable code, reusable components, and automation-first delivery across cloud and hybrid

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development delivering production-grade software.
• Deep understanding of Python packaging, environments, and code quality tooling.
• Experience building CLI tools and automation frameworks in Python.
• Hands-on templating with Jinja2 for configuration and IaC generation.
• Experience with pytest for unit and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for cloud and on-premises infra.
• Develop code-generation pipelines using Python, Jinja2, and Terraform.
• Create Puppet modules and configurations to manage Linux and Windows environments.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts for Windows servers and hybrid cloud tasks.
• Build internal tools and APIs to enable self-service workflows for engineering teams.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for automated validation and deployment.
• Write comprehensive tests and documentation to improve reliability and maintainability.
