Job summary

Kreston Reeves is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join its growing Audit team in the UK. You will own a portfolio of audit clients, build trusted relationships and deliver an exceptional client experience while developing leadership and technical expertise.

The role offers hybrid working, progression opportunities, and a supportive, inclusive culture. You will plan and oversee audits end-to-end, review complex work, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Own and manage a portfolio of audit clients, delivering high-quality service.
• Lead, coach and develop Audit Seniors and Assistants.
• Ensure budgets, billing and timelines are met while maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of audit engagements from planning to delivery.
• Review complex audit work including consolidations and technical areas.
• Act as main client contact, providing proactive advisory input.
• Collaborate with Partners to deliver joined-up client service.
• Lead, coach and develop junior team members through feedback and direction.
• Monitor workflow, budgets and deadlines to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership within the firm.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and client value.
