Job summary

Pro-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit Manager in Kettering. You will lead client audits, manage a small team, and work closely with Partners to shape service delivery. This role offers ownership of portfolios and direct client contact within an established practice.

You will oversee planning, execution and review of audits, with exposure to accounts and tax work, and opportunities to develop business for the firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid UK practice experience.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience.
• Experience leading audits and reviewing files.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Review audit files and statutory accounts.
• Be the main day-to-day contact for clients.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with Partners on complex assignments.
• Manage workflow, WIP, budgets and deadlines.
• Spot opportunities to provide additional client support.
• Contribute to advisory and value-added projects.
• Support business development and department growth.
• Gain broader client exposure across accounts and tax.
