Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with extensive audit experience in a UK accountancy firm.
• Experience leading and managing audit teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the delivery of audits for complex clients.
• Plan and scope audit assignments, allocate resources, set deadlines, and establish terms of reference.
• Manage and undertake audit assignments efficiently and effectively.
• Identify risks, evaluate internal controls, and make practical improvement recommendations.
• Liaise with Directors and clients during planning and delivery of audits.
• Prepare clear, high-quality audit reports for Directors and clients.
• Oversee systems development and advisory work and advise Directors on high-risk issues.
• Communicate with clients to provide financial information, guidance and advice.
• Support Directors with client management and supervision of junior team members.
