Ambition near Cheltenham is seeking an Associate Director to lead Audit, Accounts & Tax for a growing independent practice. You will own a broad client portfolio, lead complex engagements, and advise on technical and commercial matters across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• ACA, CA, or ACCA qualified.
• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and Companies Act.
• Confident in business development and client relationship growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit delivery for a portfolio of clients with strong quality and service standards.
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships and advise on technical, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Take full ownership of service delivery across the portfolio, including remuneration planning.
• Guide clients through acquisitions, disposals and fundraising processes.
• Develop new audit and non-audit opportunities through proactive business development.
