The role balances technical private client work with strategic client management and commercial responsibilities, suitable for a solicitor ready to take ownership of matters from instruction through completion.

Qualificações

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ PQE in private client.
• Strong knowledge across Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, POA and Estate Administration.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently to completion.
• Commercial awareness and client development focus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, providing clear, practical and commercially aware advice.
• Draft Wills and advise on succession planning, ensuring clients' wishes and individual circumstances are carefully considered.
• Advise on Trusts and estate planning arrangements, helping clients plan for the future and protect their assets.
• Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and related matters.
• Oversee estate administration, supporting executors and beneficiaries throughout the process.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a consistent and high standard of service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take on a senior role within an established legal team in Birmingham..

The position would suit someone who enjoys the technical aspects of private client work but also values the relationship-building and commercial responsibilities that come with a senior role.

The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, providing clear, practical and commercially aware advice.


• Draft Wills and advise on succession planning, ensuring clients' wishes and individual circumstances are carefully considered.


• Advise on Trusts and estate planning arrangements, helping clients plan for the future and protect their assets.


• Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and related matters.


• Oversee estate administration, supporting executors and beneficiaries throughout the process.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a consistent and high standard of service.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified Solicitor with 4+ PQE


• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration.


• The confidence and ability to manage a caseload independently, taking responsibility for matters from instruction through to completion.


• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of client retention, networking and business development.
