Job summary

Addington Ball Limited in Bromsgrove is seeking a Senior Associate Accountant to join a supportive practice. You will handle accounts preparation for Ltd companies, consolidate group accounts, and deliver management figures with client commentary.

Fully funded ACA/ACCA study support, ongoing technical training, flexible hybrid working, 23 days leave plus bank holidays, enhanced pension and healthcare, and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA with year-end accounts prep experience from within practice
• Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meeting deadlines with accuracy and communicating to stakeholders
• Proactive attitude and commitment to ongoing career development

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation for Ltd companies and consolidation of group accounts
• Preparation of management figures, liaising with clients and providing commentary
• Corporate tax compliance, VAT returns bookkeeping and management reporting
• Offering advice and guidance to clients on processes, legislation and systems
• Assistance with ad hoc projects including due diligence, forensic and valuations

The Role:

• Accounts preparation for Ltd companies and consolidation of group accounts
• Preparation of management figures, liaising with clients and providing commentary

About You:

• A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue developing your career
