Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd is representing a Senior Associate Accountant role within a dynamic accountancy firm partnering with high-profile clients. The role focuses on year-end accounts prep, consolidation, advisory support, and tax compliance across a varied client portfolio.

The successful candidate will be part-qualified or finalist in ACCA/ACA with solid practice experience, strong IT skills (Excel and accounting software), and a proactive approach to career development in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or finalists in ACCA/ACA with year-end accounts experience in practice.
• Experience with year-end accounts preparation and consolidation.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation for Ltd companies and consolidation of group accounts.
• Preparation of management figures, liaising with clients and providing commentary.
• Corporate tax compliance, VAT returns bookkeeping and management reporting.
• Advising clients on processes, legislation and systems.
• Assistance with ad hoc projects including due diligence, forensic and valuations.

The Role:

• Accounts preparation for Ltd companies and consolidation of group accounts
• Preparation of management figures, liaising with clients and providing commentary

• Offering advice and guidance to clients on processes, legislation and systems
• Assistance with ad hoc projects including due diligence, forensic and valuations

About You:

• A part qualified, finalist or newly qualified ACA or ACCA with Y/E accounts preparation from within practice
• Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• Ability to prioritise tasks, working to deadlines with accuracy and communicate to different stakeholders
• A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue developing your career
