Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Assistant Technical Officer to support our team of scientists and nurses in the delivery of anticoagulation across our Trust.
Providing a high-quality, patient-centred service is important to us. The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience in delivering high-quality service to the public, preferably within the NHS.
A full UK driving licence is required, as the service has a fleet of cars for delivery purposes.
Core hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required.
The duties include near-patient testing, phlebotomy in hospital and community anticoagulant clinics, patients' homes, as well as clerical and IT tasks as needed.
Previous phlebotomy experience and familiarity with Trust IT systems are advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided.
