Senior Asset Management Surveyor

Looking to play a strategic role in shaping public land and property for the future?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Surveyor to join a growing estates and asset management team focused on long-term impact and efficient estate transformation.

You will be part of a small, expert team driving strategic property reviews, regeneration planning, and long-term decision-making across a varied estate ranging from office buildings and leisure facilities to development sites and underused land.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Deliver property reviews to assess how land and buildings are used, identifying opportunities for optimisation, income generation, or repurposing.
2. Develop and present strategic property plans for the future use of council-owned or public-facing assets.
3. Lead stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration to align estate decisions with wider service delivery goals.
4. Provide expert, responsive advice on property regeneration, investment, or rationalisation.
5. Contribute to wider transformation projects with tangible community impact.

Who We're Looking For

• MRICS-qualified Surveyor with a strong asset management background.
• Experience leading property reviews and developing estate strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; you'll be working with legal teams, planners, and community partners.
• Public sector or housing association experience is a plus but not essential.
• Confidence in managing complex property datasets and advising on best-value land/building use.
