Job summary

Last Mile is seeking a Senior Asset Inspector to support the construction and adoption of wastewater infrastructure across sites in England and Wales. You’ll lead site inspections, coach the asset compliance team, and ensure assets meet safety and industry standards while collaborating with developers and groundworkers.

You will work on pre-adoption inspections, manage stakeholder communications, and provide technical advice on health and safety, quality and best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility assets and wastewater design/installation.
• Understanding of Design and Construction Guidance and CIRIA standards.
• Site safety experience including NRSWA and risk assessments.
• UK driving licence and proficiency with Microsoft apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach asset compliance team; inspections recorded in systems.
• Oversee pre-adoption inspections; ensure industry standards met.
• Review construction quality; identify noncompliance and issue reports.
• Provide technical site support on health, safety, environment, quality matters.
• Manage stakeholder communications; monthly reporting on inspections and trends.
