Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is recruiting a Surfacing Supervisor for projects in the North West. The role focuses on organising, supervising and delivering machine-lay and hand-lay asphalt works on multiple sites within the North West highway network.

The ideal candidate will have genuine surfacing knowledge, hands-on supervision experience, and the ability to manage labour, plant and progression across sites while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven road surfacing and highway maintenance experience.
• Experience with machine-lay carriageway and hand-lay works.
• Ability to plan, organise labour and supervise multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Run and manage multiple surfacing sites
• Supervise gangs, operatives and labour
• Oversee machine-laid carriageway surfacing
• Plan works to maintain productivity and safety
• Coordinate with management and site teams
