Job summary

Creative Support seeks an Area Manager to lead six Extra Care services in Brent and Harrow, ensuring high-quality care and 100% CQC compliance. You will drive contract management, quality assurance and performance management while building strong partnerships with local authorities and housing providers.

The role requires a health/social care qualification and at least four years of supervisory/management experience in older adult services, with dementia awareness considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant health or social care qualification.
• At least 4 years of supervisory/management experience in health or social care involving care and support of older people.
• Knowledge of dementia and health-related needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contract management and compliance
• All aspects of quality assurance and monitoring
• Driving service improvements
• Ensuring provision of varied and vibrant activities at all services
• Producing reports and collating data against KPIs
• Performance management of the Registered Managers/Senior Team
• Recruitment and selection of staff; disciplinary and grievance management
• Investigation and follow up of concerns, complaints and suggestions
