Salary: GBP45000 - GBP55000 per annum
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a respected, employee-owned, multi-disciplinary architectural practice with a strong national presence. Employing over 200 professionals across 9 UK offices and generating an annual turnover exceeding £20 million, the practice continues to grow through its commitment to design excellence, collaboration, and client-focused delivery. They are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing Birmingham team.
The Birmingham office is currently delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, including Education schemes valued between £1 million and £40 million, major Healthcare developments with project values reaching £400 million, and a number of high-rise Residential schemes. Previous experience within Education, Healthcare or Residential projects would be advantageous, although candidates from other sectors with strong technical delivery experience will also be considered.

Senior Architectural Technologist Job Overview
- Produce effective working drawing packages with minimum supervision
- Advise on environmental and building regulatory requirements affecting projects
- Co-ordinate with consultants and internal teams, disseminating information and liaising with statutory bodies
- Deliver technically challenging Education, Healthcare and high-rise Residential projects across a range of RIBA Stages
- Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements
- Co-ordinate detailed design information and technical drawing packages
- Liaise with and produce documentation for statutory and local approval authorities
- Produce and co-ordinate technical information using Revit within a BIM Level 2 environment
- Assist with project programming, site inspections and technical delivery through construction
Senior Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
- Degree qualified Architectural Technologist with minimum5 years' post-qualification experience (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience leading the delivery of technical production packages
- Good knowledge of Revit with at least 2years' continual use in practice as the primary design and delivery tool
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety legislation and construction detailing
- Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3-6
- Excellent technical detailing and co-ordination skills
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Live within a commutable distance of Birmingham
