Job summary

Construction in Brighton is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join the growing team. You will produce detailed drawings and technical information in Revit, support projects from design development through construction, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and project standards.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years post-qualification experience, strong Revit skills, and a professional client-facing approach, with the ability to lead or contribute to meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.
• Advanced working knowledge of Revit; experience producing detailed technical information.
• Exceptional technical design skills.
• Experience managing projects through all RIBA stages.
• Experience within Educational, Leisure or Extra Care sectors.
• Confident and professional client-facing approach; ability to lead or contribute to meetings.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings, technical designs, specifications and schedules using Revit to support projects from design development through to construction.
• Develop and manage designs, ensuring accuracy, coordination and compliance with project standards.
• Prepare technical information packages for planning, tender and construction stages.
• Coordinate technical information across disciplines, identifying and resolving design and construction issues.
• Work closely with the wider technical team.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to support smooth project delivery.
• Assist with day to day project running, including managing deadlines, information release and design team coordination.
• Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, industry standards and best practice.

Architectural Technologist Position Overview:
