Job description

A chance to work on some of the UK's most high-profile heritage and conservation projects across all RIBA stages. This is an opportunity to blend innovation with tradition, leading landmark restorations and contemporary interventions within historic settings.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and managing technical design packages for heritage and conservation projects.
  • Overseeing projects to ensure exceptional design quality, client satisfaction, and financial success.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Conducting technical design reviews and audits, sharing feedback and best practices.
  • Mentoring and managing junior team members, while contributing to the Technical Leadership Group.

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years post-qualification experience as a Project Architect or Technologist in a UK-based practice.
  • RIBA/ARB or CIAT accreditation with strong technical expertise in detailing, UK Building & Planning regulations.
  • Experience across RIBA Stages 3-7, with a proven track record in heritage and conservation architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS, with experience managing others using these tools.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills, with experience mentoring teams.
