Gen II Fund Services is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to maintain reliability, security, and performance of core systems. You will blend hands-on systems administration with ServiceDesk support for VDI environments in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or technical support in an enterprise environment.
• Experience delivering service desk or service management with ServiceNow.
• Strong PowerShell skills for administration and automation.
• Clear written and verbal communication to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID; manage users, groups, licences.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and availability of apps/databases.
• Maintain changes and patches per approved change management.
• Provide ServiceDesk support for VDI environments and remote access.
• Work within ServiceNow to manage incidents, requests and problems.
