Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC. is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to maintain reliability, security, and performance of core business systems. You will blend hands-on systems administration with ServiceDesk support for VDI environments and contribute to governance and automation initiatives.

The role requires at least 3 years in enterprise systems administration, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication. A hybrid schedule in London is offered, with on-site work four days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or technical support within an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting end users in a ServiceDesk or service management environment, ideally using ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work methodically under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Provide ServiceDesk support for VDI users and incident resolution.
• Work within ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and problem records.
