About the role
We are recruiting a Senior Animal Laboratory Technician for the UK DRI laboratory team at the Cruciform Building. You will work with research staff at all levels to facilitate research at the UK DRI. Your responsibilities include animal husbandry, monitoring Home Office licenses, managing transgenic mouse lines, performing genotyping, and training related to mouse work. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Centre, the UK DRI Central Team, the Queen Square Institute of Neurology, and UCL central services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The role starts from 01 June and is funded for two years. About you
You should have a BSc in biological sciences or a related field, a Home Office personal licence, and experience with transgenic mouse lines and genotyping. Experience in a university research lab, effective project prioritization, and excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
