Job Description

We are seeking a job-running architectural technician or architect for the property team of an inner-London local authority. The role is offered on a long-term contract basis, with a daily rate, working Monday to Friday. Architects or Architectural Technicians may be considered for the role. The position is hybrid, with approximately three days working from home, one day in the office, and one day dedicated to site meetings in South London. Key duties and requirements include:

• Managing multiple projects, typically minor refurbishments on residential properties.
• Conducting surveys and pre-purchase reports.
• Knowledge of building regulations and standards.
• Administration of JCT contracts.
• Producing building specifications using NBS.
• Site management to project completion.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
