Job summary

BCB Group is expanding its data function in London, seeking a hands-on analytics specialist to own reports and dbt models end-to-end. You will work directly with the Head of Data & Analytics, moving reporting onto Omni while leveraging AI-enabled workflows to reduce repetitive coding.

You’ll build dbt models, dashboards, and tests, and collaborate on problems requiring thoughtful analysis. This role promotes hybrid work with regular in-office days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an analytics/data role within a Modern Data Stack.
• Hands-on SQL, dbt, and git.
• Omni experience is required.
• A degree in Economics, Maths, or Computer Science.
• Payments, banking, fintech or crypto domain knowledge.
• Basic statistics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models and Omni dashboards
• Take loosely defined requests from business teams, work out what they actually need, and deliver it
• Investigate data issues down to the root cause and fix them at the source
• Write tests and documentation so others can trust your numbers
• Update and deliver regulatory reports
