Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to drive onboarding, map development, testing and deployment of EDI initiatives across a global scope. You will lead efforts, review mappings, and ensure standards meet GDPR, EN 16931 and related regulations.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with IT, suppliers and customers, and advancing continuous improvement through Lean thinking. The role is based at Northampton with future site relocation to Corby.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years experience in EDI, with at least 1 year in customer service/customer facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards: Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, ViDA, UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12.
• Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools.
• Experience with European EDI/E-commerce standards including UN/EDIFACT, Peppol BIS, ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age), EN 16931, UN/CEFACT CII, CIUS, XRechnung, Factur-X

Department: Global Customer Service & Shared Services Function: Global Fulfillment & Customer Service

This role will work initially from our high performing National Distribution Site in Northampton, moving to a brand-new healthcare facility owned by CEVA Logistics in Rockingham Park, Corby which will be opening in 2027.

Summary

Responsible for working within a cross-functional team to drive customer onboarding and implementations, map development, testing, and deployment. Additionally, the Senior EDI Analyst will also lead/support key initiatives, identify key process improvements, and review/revise/draft mapping and specification documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

N/A: Intern or Co-op Multi-Lingual, Excellent English-language skill Strong understanding of European e-commerce data exchange standards and regulations (Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, VAT / ViDA, UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, global teams and external partners. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience.

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in EDI, with a minimum of 1 year of customer service/customer facing experience
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards, such as Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, ViDA, and UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12
• Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools,
• Experience with European EDI/E-commerce standards including, UN/EDIFACT, Peppol BIS, ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age), EN 16931 (e-invoicing), UN/CEFACT CII, CIUS (Core Invoice Usage Specs, XRechnung, Factur-X)
