Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join Global Fulfillment & Customer Service. You will collaborate across functions to drive onboarding, mapping, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced, global setting.

Initially based at the National Distribution Site in Northampton, the role will move to a new facility at Rockingham Park, Corby, opening in 2027, where you will support key EDI initiatives and ensure regulatory-compliant data exchange.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5–7 years in EDI with customer-facing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of EDI standards including Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, ViDA, UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12.
• Experience with EDI software and mapping tools; familiarity with European EDI/e-commerce standards.

• Lead and/or support key EDI initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and skill development.

This role will work initially from our high performing National Distribution Site in Northampton, moving to a brand-new healthcare facility owned by CEVA Logistics in Rockingham Park, Corby which will be opening in 2027.

Summary

Responsible for working within a cross-functional team to drive customer onboarding and implementations, map development, testing, and deployment. Additionally, the Senior EDI Analyst will also lead/support key initiatives, identify key process improvements, and review/revise/draft mapping and specification documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

• Working collaboratively to drive rapid onboarding execution within a fast-paced global organization.
• Lead and/or support the development of key EDI initiatives.
• Identify and implement key process improvements and technical skill development opportunities.
• Ensure data standards are industry-compliant and align with applicable regulations (e.g. HIPAA, DSCSA) and adhere to Baxter privacy and security policies.
• Collaborate with IT business partners, suppliers, and customers on key business initiatives and projects, and liaising with key stakeholders
• Support a workplace culture of continuous improvement (Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen).

• Multi-Lingual, Excellent English-language skill
• Strong understanding of European e-commerce data exchange standards and regulations (Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, VAT / ViDA, UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, global teams and external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in EDI, with a minimum of 1 year of customer service/customer facing experience
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards, such as Peppol BIS, EDIFACT, GDPR, EN 16931, ViDA, and UN/CEFACT CII, XML/UBL, X12
• Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools,
• Experience with European EDI/E-commerce standards including, UN/EDIFACT, Peppol BIS, ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age), EN 16931 (e-invoicing), UN/CEFACT CII, CIUS (Core Invoice Usage Specs, XRechnung, Factur-X)
