Ledgy is seeking a Software Engineer for the AI Systems team to build the AI foundations and product experiences of our equity management platform. You will shape the company Agent, MCP server, and safe AI integrations while collaborating with product, design, and engineering.

The role emphasizes correctness, observability, and scalable backend infrastructure. We hire remotely across the UK with a London hybrid option, and offer a competitive salary plus equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong TypeScript/Node fundamentals across backend and frontend.
• Built and shipped agentic/LLM-based software to production (agent, assistant, or chat product).
• Designed the agent itself: tools, context, prompts, state, and the agent loop.
• Used evidence-based evaluation: Evals, tracing, and feedback to drive improvements.
• Keeps up with foundation labs and the wider AI community to inform design choices.
• Reads data, talks to customers, and pushes for the most impactful work.

Responsibilities

• Build the AI foundations and product experiences for Ledgy's AI Systems.
• Develop the company Agent, MCP server, and safety-focused embedding of AI across domains.
• Measure and improve agent quality through evaluations, tracing, and feedback loops.
• Scale the AI platform to support multiple teams, ensuring reliability and observability.
